Description

The Request alleges harms to the quality of life of the Requesters, due to the proximity of their homes to the construction site of the highway, which is part of the Project. The Requesters claim that their properties should have been considered eligible for expropriation under the Resettlement Plan prior to the commencement of the Projects construction ; and that, due to this, they have been exposed on a daily basis and during extreme hours of the day, to conditions of high levels of sound pollution (due to the explosions necessary for the construction), poor air quality (due to suspended particles in the environment and chemical products used by the Project) and strong vibrations caused by machinery traffic and the equipment necessary for construction.
