Description

The program's general objective is to contribute to productivity growth and poverty reduction in Costa Rica by facilitatingcloser integration between production and consumption areas and improving the population's access to public and social services. Its specific objective isto improve the quality of the Cantonal Road Network through: (i) road rehabilitation and maintenance works that include a climate change adaptationcomponent, which will result in shorter travel times and lower operating costs; and (ii) strengthening of the institutions responsible for road networkmanagement.
