Description

The Compliance Review and Mediation Unit (BCRM) received within three months several complaints relating to the Abidjan Urban Transport Project (AUTP). This project is financed by the African Development Bank Group (AfDB). The complainants, a mixed group of a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) and individuals representing the people affected by the project (PAPs), are: (i)    The Mouvement Colombe Ivoire and the Civil Society Platform for the Defence of Interests of Persons and Property comprising representatives of the Wives of the Impacted Houses of the Santé 3 Extension, the Association of Widows of Santé 3 and the Association of Dynamic Women of Santé 3; (ii)    The residents of Boribana; and (iii)    The Chief of the Traditional Authority of Adjamé Village.
