Description

The purpose of PROMABEN II is to contribute towards the solving of environmental and social issues affecting the inhabitants of the Estrada Nova Watershed through interventions of Caripunas and Bernardo sayao canals. Its specific objectives are: i) improve the environmental and health situation in the intervention area; ii) improve the habitat of the population in the area; iii) improve the operation and management capacity of the public entities involved; extend the Via Orla on the Guama riverside. PROMABEN II will complement the actions of 1998/OC-BR, in order to meet its objectives in their integrality, aditionaly to giving continuity to the Via Orla Project and implementing the Porto Acai.
